DPMMFC became the 2009 singapore league champions after a breath taking final with Singapore Armed Forces FC at stadium jalan besar singapore with the game going to penalties .The final score was Brunei DPMMFC (1-1) SAF FC .
This is Brunei's second champion hardwere since the malaysian league in 1999.
